Office building fire, nearly 30 people rescued

(NLĐO) - Upon receiving a report of a fire at an office building, authorities quickly arrived, extinguished the fire in time, and safely rescued nearly 30 people.


At approximately 8:04 AM on February 12th, a fire broke out at the CTM building, located at 139 Cau Giay Street, Cau Giay District, Hanoi . Immediately after receiving the report, the Hanoi City Police Fire and Rescue Force arrived at the scene to carry out firefighting and rescue operations.

At the scene, authorities determined that the building where the fire occurred had multiple floors, comprising a supermarket, offices, and apartments. The fire originated in the technical shaft area on the 4th floor of the office tower of the building.

Authorities promptly organized firefighting efforts, completely extinguishing the blaze shortly afterward. Simultaneously, search and rescue teams were deployed to the scene.

Through search and rescue operations, authorities promptly guided nearly 30 people to safety, helping them evacuate to the rooftop and then via the stairwell to a safe area.

According to initial reports, all victims are in stable condition, both physically and mentally.
