Chi Lang: 158 households received financial support to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- On the morning of April 3, the Provincial Red Cross Society (RCS) coordinated with the Provincial Post Office to provide cash support to households affected by storm No. 3 in Quan Son commune, Chi Lang district.

At the program, 138 households received cash support with a total amount of 400 million VND (the support amount is calculated according to 3 levels: 1-person household receives 1 million VND/household; 2-person household receives 2 million VND/household; 3-person household or more receives 3 million VND/household) and 20 households received livelihood support (each household receives 3 million VND).

According to the plan, on April 4, 182 more households affected by storm No. 3 in Bang Huu commune, Chi Lang district will receive cash support with a total amount of 520 million VND.

Households affected by storm No. 3 in Quan Son commune, Chi Lang district receive support money.

The support money is intended to help households affected by storm No. 3 have more funds to meet their daily essential needs and invest in buying plants and seedlings to create long-term livelihoods.
It is known that the above funding source is provided by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies through the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society.

Also in the program, the provincial Red Cross Association staff also organized communication on clean water sanitation and disease prevention after the storm.
