Colonel Dao Ngoc Dai: Factory Z119 was established on August 7, 1965, the predecessor was a division separated from Factory X100, originally named MZ495. During the resistance war against the US, to save the country, the officers, engineers and workers of the Factory not only repaired on-site but also directly mobilized to the battlefields to serve the combat, contributing significantly to the achievements of the Air Defense - Air Force.

The factory has had many valuable initiatives such as: Manufacturing DKD-71 anti-aircraft gun mounts, improving CON9A radar into K102, K103, K104 types; collaborating with Hanoi University of Science and Technology to research and manufacture BTR15 magnetic bomb disposal device...

Entering peacetime, Factory Z119 has constantly innovated, rising to become the leading facility in repairing and manufacturing radar equipment for the entire army. In recognition of its outstanding achievements, in 2014, the Factory was honored to be awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the Party and State. On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of its tradition, Factory Z119 was honored to receive the Second Class Fatherland Protection Medal.

In addition, the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of Factory Z119 always put human resource development as a top priority. We encourage the spirit of self-study and research of cadres, engineers, workers and employees; promote the role of the team of high-level workers, guide and train young workers right in actual production. Encourage cadres, workers and employees to actively respond to emulation movements, especially the movement to promote initiatives and technical improvements.

From 2020 to now, the Factory has had 156 technical innovation topics and initiatives effectively applied, contributing to the implementation of the Factory's tasks, overcoming difficulties in material scarcity, proactively ensuring production progress and product quality, benefiting the budget by hundreds of millions of VND.

Colonel Dao Ngoc Dai: With a consistent viewpoint, building a strong and comprehensive factory is a factor that ensures all victories; over the years, the Party Committee and the Factory Board of Directors have regularly innovated methods of making resolutions, improved leadership effectiveness, maintained the principle of democratic centralism and promoted the role of mass organizations.

On the other hand, the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Factory always pay attention to listening to the thoughts and aspirations, promptly resolving reasonable proposals of cadres and workers. Along with that, we always pay attention to and implement well the regimes and policies, take care of the home front, promptly reward collectives and individuals with achievements, creating motivation for creative labor competition. The effectiveness is clearly shown through the numbers: Every year, 100% of Party members complete their tasks, of which 98.6% complete well and excellently. For many consecutive years, the Party Committee of Factory Z119 has achieved the title of exemplary clean and strong.

Colonel Dao Ngoc Dai: We determined that, first of all, we must standardize and improve the quality of human resources - considering this a key factor determining the sustainable development of the factory. Implementing this policy, in recent years, the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of Factory Z119 have proactively coordinated with academies and research institutes inside and outside the Army to select, train and foster young cadres and engineers. At the same time, we attach importance to training to improve the technical expertise and skills of the team of technicians and workers; focus on training new technologies, exploiting and researching to master new equipment.

Along with the human factor, the factory also pays special attention to and applies digital transformation technology and artificial intelligence to the development of programs, projects, and plans for the factory's development in the period 2025-2030.
