LDG Chairman said he 'secretly sold' shares because his secretary was slow to disclose information

LDG Chairman Nguyen Khanh Hung explained that while on a business trip, he assigned his secretary to announce information about the stock sale, but this person was late.

This information was provided by Mr. Nguyen Khanh Hung in an official dispatch explaining the sale of 2.6 million LDG shares in the session of August 15 without disclosing information before the transaction.

Accordingly, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of LDG Investment Joint Stock Company said that from August 8 to August 15, he had several business trips away, so he made "notifications of insider stock transactions" and assigned the secretary to publish the information according to regulations.

However, Mr. Hung said that because the secretary was a new employee and did not understand the regulations, it led to errors and delays in the information disclosure process. Immediately after returning to work on August 15, Mr. Hung discovered the errors and requested additional handling to ensure compliance with regulations and stopped all subsequent transactions.

LDG Chairman also affirmed that this stock transaction belonged to him personally, was not a stock transaction owned by the company and was not related to LDG's interests. At the same time, this transaction was also not related to the interests between the company and its partners and customers. Mr. Hung said he would comply with the administrative penalty decisions related to the above error.

Currently, the management agency has not announced the penalty for the violation of the Chairman of LDG. On August 16, HoSE announced the removal of the sale of 2.6 million LDG shares at the session on August 15 by Mr. Nguyen Khanh Hung.

At the end of today's trading session, LDG shares had an outstanding sell order at the floor price of VND5,980 with more than 25.5 million units.
