Witnessing the rich collections of artifacts at the Grand Egyptian Museum, President Luong Cuong expressed his impression of the scale and diversity, which clearly reflect the cultural characteristics of one of the cradles of ancient civilization and are also a symbol of Egypt's efforts to modernize the tourism industry and preserve its heritage.

The President affirmed that Vietnam always admires the brilliant civilization of Arab countries. The thousand-year-old treasure of epics, philosophy and poetry of the Arab world has fascinated many generations of Vietnamese people. The unique cultural identity and timeless spiritual values of Egypt have always been an endless source of inspiration for wisdom, courage, love of freedom and justice, enriching human civilization.
On this occasion, the President presented a copy of the Ngoc Lu bronze drum, an important cultural symbol of Vietnam, to the Grand Egyptian Museum. The Director of the Grand Egyptian Museum expressed his gratitude for the “extremely valuable gift” from the President and affirmed that he would arrange a solemn location, appropriate to the meaning of the artifact, for display at the Grand Museum.

The Grand Egyptian Museum, also known as the Giza Museum, is located in Giza province of Egypt, about 2km from the Giza Pyramid Complex. The project has been started and is now open to visitors in some areas. The Grand Egyptian Museum has a total land area of 81,000 m² and is home to over 100,000 artifacts of ancient Egyptian civilization, including valuable collections from the Tutankhamun Dynasty, the Statue of King Ramses II..., gathered from many localities of Egypt such as Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, Assiut, Beni Suef, Fayum...
The Grand Egyptian Museum uses many modern display technologies, including real-time projection technology. The Grand Museum campus has diverse infrastructures such as a children's museum, a conference center, a training center, and areas that recreate famous sites from the Pharaoh period.
