Today, May 17, according to information from the Ministry of Justice, the Prime Minister signed a decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Tran Tien Dung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Lai Chau province, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Justice.
Mr. Tran Tien Dung, Chairman of Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee, was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Justice.
Mr. Tran Tien Dung was born on March 7, 1975, his hometown is Nam Dinh province, has over 20 years of experience working in the judiciary and is a strategic planning officer of the Central Committee.
Mr. Dung has grown up through many positions, from specialist, secretary assisting the ministry's leaders, secretary to the minister, deputy chief of office, chief of office and then Deputy Minister of Justice.
In 2016, when he was appointed deputy minister, Mr. Dung was the youngest deputy minister of the Ministry of Justice and one of the few 7X deputy ministers of central ministries and branches.
In early 2019, Mr. Dung was appointed by the Secretariat to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term; introduced to be elected as Chairman of Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term.
After that, Mr. Dung was elected to hold the position of Chairman of Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee for the 2016 - 2021 term and re-elected to this position for the 2021 - 2026 term.
After a period of job rotation, Mr. Dung has now returned to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Justice.
Currently, the Ministry of Justice has 5 deputy ministers, including Mr./Ms. Nguyen Khanh Ngoc, Dang Hoang Oanh, Nguyen Thanh Tinh, Mai Luong Khoi and Tran Tien Dung.
