Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee sent a letter of thanks for the results of the provincial competitiveness ranking

On May 10, Comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee sent a letter of thanks to officials, civil servants, public employees, the business community and investors in the province for the results of the provincial competitiveness ranking.

In the letter, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that this is a very positive and remarkable result, demonstrating the efforts and determination of the business community and investors to overcome the difficult and challenging year of 2023, joining hands and sharing with the Ninh Thuan provincial government. "With this letter, I would like to send my most sincere thanks to businesses, investors and entrepreneurs. It is the objective and responsible assessment of the business community on the investment environment that has helped Ninh Thuan continuously increase 38 ranks in 2 consecutive years, from 49th place in 2021 to 11th place out of 63 provinces and cities in 2023. This is a great motivation and encouragement for the entire Ninh Thuan provincial government to continue to improve the quality of governance, strongly improve the investment and business environment in the province".

Ninh Thuan province ranked 11th/63 in provincial competitiveness in 2023.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Nam also shared: In the coming time, the government apparatus and the business community must continue to proactively and flexibly adapt to the investment and business environment; promote economic restructuring, innovate the growth model towards "green growth", create momentum to promote rapid and sustainable economic development; proactively and promptly identify difficulties and challenges to find ways to remove and resolve them according to regulations with the motto "doing it right, doing it quickly, doing it effectively". We are committed to continuing to create all favorable and open conditions for investors and businesses to accompany, contribute and share successes with the motto "Your success is also our success".

Through the letter, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also called on: All sectors, all levels, all cadres, civil servants and public employees to continue to innovate management thinking and working style, continue to spread the spirit of accompanying businesses and investors, turning challenges into opportunities, turning opportunities into new motivations and new resources for development, meeting the expectations of people and businesses, for the development of Ninh Thuan homeland.

According to the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) Ranking 2023 just announced by the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), Ninh Thuan province ranked 11th out of 63 provinces and cities, ranked 2nd out of 14 provinces and cities in the Central Coast, up 19 places compared to 2022 and is in the Top 30 provinces and cities with the best governance quality in PCI 2023.
