The Trade Union of Ha Tinh Economic Zones brought union members and workers a joyful, warm atmosphere and meaningful gifts through the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Sharing" 2024.

On the morning of January 25, the Provincial Economic Zones Trade Union organized the program "Happy Tet - Sharing Spring" 2024.

In 2023, production and business activities of enterprises in economic zones will face many difficulties, significantly affecting the lives and jobs of union members and workers.

Faced with that situation, the Trade Union of the Economic Zones of Ha Tinh province has focused on protecting the rights and interests, taking care of the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers; coordinating and accompanying businesses in difficult times.

During the year, 131 enterprises organized labor conferences and dialogues at the workplace. The Trade Union coordinated with functional agencies to inspect the implementation of labor laws at 35 enterprises; negotiated and signed 15 collective labor agreements; organized training for more than 7,000 employees; and provided periodic health check-ups for 9,130 ​​workers at 65 units.

The Provincial Economic Zones Trade Union responded to petitions and provided policy advice to 850 union members and workers; coordinated in resolving 13 petitions and recommendations from union members and workers; participated in improving the quality of shift meals for workers...

In 2023, the Provincial Economic Zones Trade Union presented 920 gifts worth 480 million VND to union members in difficult circumstances; grassroots trade unions mobilized 3,360 gifts worth more than 2.3 billion VND to support union members; requested the Provincial Labor Federation to support 4 union shelters worth 140 million VND for union members with housing difficulties.

The programs "Tet Sum Vay", "Worker Month", and holidays are organized with many meaningful activities; tens of thousands of gifts are given to union members, workers and children of workers.

On the occasion of this year's Lunar New Year, the Provincial Economic Zones Trade Union coordinated with relevant departments and branches to monitor the implementation of policies and regimes for workers; at the same time, called on agencies and businesses to sponsor resources to take care of workers, especially those in difficult circumstances and hardships.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai briefly informed about the outstanding results of socio-economic development of the province in 2023, and affirmed that those results had important contributions from the province's workers and laborers in general, and workers in the economic zones in particular.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee sent New Year greetings of peace and happiness to officials, union members, and employees of agencies and enterprises; hoping that employees will continue to make efforts and contribute to the construction of economic zones and the development of the province.

In the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Chia Chia", the Organizing Committee awarded 70 million VND to support 2 union shelters; 525 gifts with a total amount of 445 million VND; 250 shopping cards worth 75 million VND to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.

65 prizes with a total value of 60 million VND were awarded to lucky workers in the lucky draw program.
