Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh will directly dialogue with local youth on the afternoon of October 14, 2024, at the Hanoi Children's Palace (new), Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi.

This dialogue conference was held within the framework of the 8th Congress of Delegates of the Hanoi Youth Union, term 2024-2029, at the 1st session.

This is the content of Plan No. 281/KH-UBND recently issued by the Hanoi People's Committee on organizing a dialogue conference between the Chairman of the People's Committee and young people in Hanoi in 2024.

The dialogue conference was held to grasp the situation, listen to the recommendations and proposals of young people; promptly direct the resolution and removal of existing problems, limitations, difficulties and obstacles related to the rights and legitimate interests of young people... in the current period.

At the same time, through the dialogue program, we aim to widely disseminate to young people the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's laws, and those of Hanoi city on youth support and development.

The program of the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee's dialogue with young people is expected to focus on 3 main groups of issues. In particular, the group of issues on "Green Hanoi" includes: Opinions, proposals, and solutions to promote the role and responsibility of members and young people in protecting the environment and responding to climate change, building a bright - green - clean - beautiful capital; propagating and raising awareness of young people about the benefits and responsibilities of environmental protection, the harmful effects of climate change on the economy and society, aiming to change behavior in environmental resource protection activities.

The group of issues "Cultural Hanoi" includes: Opinions, proposals, and solutions to promote the role and responsibility of members and youth in preserving, conserving, and promoting the traditional cultural and historical values ​​of the capital; improving the cultural and spiritual life of youth and children, thereby contributing to widely propagating among youth union members about the fine cultural traditions of the capital Hanoi...

The group of issues "Civilized and modern Hanoi" includes: Suggestions from members and young people in the fields of building digital citizens, digital government, digital society; building a culture of behavior, building elegant and civilized Hanoians; newly arising issues requiring a spirit of volunteerism, demonstrating the innovation and dynamism of the Association and Hanoi youth...

The 8th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Hanoi, term 2024 - 2029, is scheduled for October 14-15, 2024, with many innovations and creations imbued with the youth of the capital. With the theme: "Youth participate in building a green, cultured, civilized and modern capital", the Congress has about 450 delegates attending the Congress, including 400 official delegates...
