Khanh Long Pagoda celebrates Buddha's birthday PL2569 - DL2025

Delegates respectfully performed the Buddha bathing ceremony.

At the ceremony, in a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the delegates, monks, nuns, Buddhists and people listened to the message of the PL 2569 Vesak Celebration from the Supreme Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha. He emphasized that this year is a year of great significance for Vietnamese Buddhism and the Vietnamese people when the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha successfully organized the 2025 United Nations Vesak Celebration in Ho Chi Minh City. The main message is a call for equality and peace, hoping that every Buddhist will always unite, spread love, compassion and wisdom to humanity, in order to create a peaceful and happy world.

Khanh Long Pagoda Buddhist Association presented flowers to congratulate at the ceremony.

At the ceremony, delegates, monks, nuns and Buddhists enjoyed special performances praising the Buddha and performed rituals of incense offering, bathing the Buddha, releasing animals, chanting sutras to pray for national peace and prosperity, releasing birds for peace... to show respect and gratitude for the Buddha's merits as well as the wish for a clean living environment, where people unite and work together to develop a prosperous and peaceful country.
