Preparing for the 11th Da Lat - Lam Dong Flower Festival in 2026

On the morning of November 5, Comrade Dinh Van Tuan, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; relevant departments and branches to discuss the preparation plan for the 10th Da Lat - Lam Dong Flower Festival, scheduled to take place in 2026.

At the meeting, representatives of departments and branches discussed and considered many different options and topics proposed by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, including: "Da Lat Flowers - Connecting emotions," "Da Lat Flowers - Converging quintessence," "Da Lat Flowers - A harmony of flower colors and music ," "Da Lat Flowers - Lam Dong reaching out to the ocean," and "Lam Dong - Connecting flowers, magical musical note heritage."

The key programs and activities of the 11th Flower Festival are expected to be held in December 2026.

Representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism reported on the preparation plan for the Flower Festival.

To celebrate the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism proposed launching a campaign called: Everyone grows flowers, every household grows flowers and trees to welcome the 11th Da Lat - Lam Dong Flower Festival in 2026.

The campaign will be launched immediately, expected to be chaired by the Department of Agriculture and Environment, with the participation of People's Committees of communes, wards, special zones, Da Lat Urban Services Joint Stock Company, Da Lat Flower Association, agencies, units, businesses, organizations and households.

The campaign's content includes creating a vibrant and friendly flower and tree landscape, launching the Flower Route, Flower Alley, Green School, Green - Clean - Beautiful Agency movements across the province and organizing contests such as Beautiful House - Beautiful Garden to Welcome the Festival, Blooming Neighborhood, Community Flower Garden - Colors of Lam Dong.

In addition, the meeting also discussed plans to organize main programs and other response programs.

Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Tuan delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Tuan requested localities and departments to propose and register participation programs to find new programs for the Flower Festival.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Tuan directed the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to identify and select key programs to ensure focus and create highlights, in addition to response programs.
