On April 29, within the framework of the launching ceremony of Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month 2025 held at Lam Thao Super Phosphate and Chemical Joint Stock Company (Supe Lam Thao), Phu Tho province, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang - President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, leaders of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade, Chemical Industry Union and delegates attended many activities.

Opening the series of activities, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien and delegates inspected the production and business chain at Lam Thao Superphosphate and Chemical Joint Stock Company. Including visiting the laundry room and drying room for protective clothing of the Life Enterprise, the canteen of shift 3 of the Life Enterprise under the Company.

The laundry room of the Life Enterprise will serve the employees of the Company after each shift. Employees will proactively bring their clothes to the laundry room after cleaning up. The clothes will be transferred to the laundry department, neatly folded in the form of old delivery - new receipt.

Along with the completion of the "5 Houses" (dining room, bathroom, toilet, changing room and dormitory at Hai Duong NPK factory), in order to meet the maximum working and living needs of workers, the Company also invested in building new, renovating and repairing many meaningful works such as: Experimental garden, laundry room and washing machine system, dryer for labor protection clothing,... renovating the campus of the main gate area of the Company, the campus of the cultural and sports area and the ecological lake at the Supe workers' area, the Workers' Area Hall. In addition, the Company always maintains and invests in developing cultural, artistic and sports movements for workers.

Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien and Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang - President of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor visited the Company's canteen and life workshop.

The canteen is operated according to the buffet model, each meal costs 27,000 VND, the canteen is highly appreciated by workers. The meals are light, clean and ensure adequate nutrition.

The program is jointly implemented by the Industry and Trade Union and the Chemical Industry Union and has lasted from April 26 to present.

Welfare booth, health care area, Vietnamese product display booth... are divided into 3 main areas, displaying Supe Lam Thao products, goods of domestic manufacturers and enterprises such as: food, drinks, consumer goods... at preferential prices.

Ms. Thanh Ha - Phu Tho said that the Vietnamese product display area and welfare booth organized by the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade in coordination with the Chemical Industry Trade Union are practical and meaningful activities not only for workers but also for the majority of people in Lam Thao district.

“ The goods displayed and introduced at the booths are all essential consumer goods such as: fish sauce, rice, spices, household goods, fertilizers… with reasonable prices, meeting the consumer needs of the majority of people ” - Ms. Thanh Ha shared.

Previously, on April 19, also at Lam Thao Super Phosphate and Chemical Joint Stock Company, the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade launched a series of activities for Workers' Month and the Month of Action on occupational safety and hygiene in 2025 by taking blood samples for testing and conducting health check-ups for workers and laborers.

This is a symbolic opening event, demonstrating the close attention and concrete actions of the trade union in taking care of the health and welfare of workers right from the first days of the May series of activities.

The leader of the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade said that the event on April 19 was not only the beginning of a journey to provide more comprehensive care for the working class in the new context, but also an affirmation: The Union does not only talk but also acts with concrete actions, starting from the smallest things like a health check-up to create the greatest value, which is peace of mind and sustainable companionship.
