The Compact program is implemented in Cu M'gar district, developed and supported by the Sustainable Trade Initiative (IDH), co-sponsored by JDE Company, with the participation of businesses such as Simexco DakLak, Intimex Buon Ma Thuot... and local authorities.
The program aims to promote and support farmers in sustainable production; improve product quality and market connection; conserve resources, protect the environment, adapt to climate change, enhance gender equality and create livelihoods for people.
The program is implemented through public-private partnership (PPP).

In the 2021-2025 period, the program will be implemented in 15 communes and 2 towns, with a scale of more than 37,700 hectares of coffee, 4,800 hectares of pepper, 3,000 hectares of various fruit trees, aiming to form a large-scale sustainable raw material area in the area.
After 5 years of implementation, the Compact Cu Mgar Program has attracted the active participation of farmers and achieved many results, contributing to the goal of sustainable development of the local agricultural sector.
Most notably, the improvement of production capacity and support for sustainable production through training for 86,319 farmers (of which the proportion of women participating is 37%); organizing for 3,208 farmers to visit and learn, sharing through successful production models; supporting replanting seedlings with about 823,200 coffee seedlings, 369,518 intercropped plants of various types...
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Cong Van, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, emphasized that Cu M'gar is the district with the largest coffee area in the province with 37,726 hectares; there are 4,800 hectares of pepper, more than 3,000 hectares of fruit trees of all kinds... Annual output of coffee beans reaches 80,000 tons; pepper is about 4,826 tons and 45,000 tons of various fruits.
Through the Compact program, it has contributed to changing farmers' awareness, protecting the environment and natural resources; the relationship between the "4 houses" has become increasingly close and effective.
Many localities have established cooperatives, formed value chains, built growing area codes, created quality products, and met market requirements.
