To understand more about her, we went to the Traffic Police Department, Quang Tri Provincial Police - where Lieutenant Colonel Le Thi Hoai Huong had been attached for more than 20 years before taking on a new assignment in Ba Nang Commune, Dakrong District (now Dakrong Commune). It is known that during her time working at the Traffic Police Department, she had held many positions, from a young officer to a commanding position in the department's professional teams.

As Deputy Head of the Propaganda Team, with her responsibility, she directly participated in hundreds of propaganda sessions on traffic safety law in residential communities, schools, transport enterprises, industrial parks, attracting thousands of participants. At the same time, she advised the unit's leaders to print and distribute tens of thousands of leaflets related to the harmful effects of alcohol use; regulations on speed compliance when driving for car and motorbike drivers; regulations on wearing standard helmets; inland waterway traffic rules, wearing life jackets when traveling by boat... to send to neighborhoods, villages and each household.

Faced with the complicated situation of traffic accidents in the mountainous areas of Quang Tri province, and the limited awareness of traffic participation and law compliance of the local people, Lieutenant Colonel Le Thi Hoai Huong reported to the unit's leaders to plan and implement a program "Focusing on propaganda and dissemination of legal education for the people of the highlands of Quang Tri" in Huong Hoa and Dakrong (old) districts, where many Van Kieu and Pa Ko ethnic people live. At the same time, she proposed to assign local police officers who are fluent in the languages of ethnic minorities to coordinate with the Traffic Police force to propagate traffic safety laws to the people.

Not only completing her professional tasks well, Lieutenant Colonel Le Thi Hoai Huong also devoted much enthusiasm to social work and volunteering. She chaired and coordinated with units, businesses, and philanthropists to organize many meaningful programs, such as: "Spring of Love" to the people of Quang Tri highlands on the occasion of Lunar New Year, giving gifts to children in highlands, supporting families in difficult circumstances, contributing to spreading love and sharing in the community. She also organized propaganda programs on traffic safety and order for the people, with the hope that people would celebrate Tet happily, warmly, and safely.

In particular, during the complicated COVID-19 situation, when people from the southern provinces poured into their hometowns through Quang Tri province, the image of Ms. Huong and her teammates, regardless of the sun or rain, day and night ensuring traffic order and safety on National Highway 1 and personally handing out meals, bottles of cool water or small gift bags, helping people relieve their fatigue after a difficult journey, left a deep impression in the hearts of the people. Her dedication and closeness not only spread the spirit of sharing but also added confidence and strength to people on their journey back to their hometowns. In recognition of her contributions, during her time working at the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police, Lieutenant Colonel Le Thi Hoai Huong was awarded many certificates of merit by all levels.

On July 1, 2025, Dakrong Commune Police was established on the basis of merging the police of the communes: Ba Nang, Ta Long and Dakrong. Since then, Lieutenant Colonel Le Thi Hoai Huong has worked at the Order Police Team, Dakrong Commune Police. In the early days of merging the commune and implementing the operation of the 2-level local government, with her responsibility, she promptly advised the commune police leaders to immediately deploy the task of ensuring security and order in the area; proactively deploying forces, grasping the situation, staying close to the area; strengthening patrols and controls at points with risks of traffic safety loss; proactively coordinating with Dakrong Police Station (Traffic Police Department, Quang Tri Provincial Police) to organize mobile patrols combined with stopping vehicles at a centralized point to handle young people driving motorbikes and scooters, weaving and causing public disorder; Coordinate with local departments, branches and organizations to organize propaganda and mobilize people to strictly comply with traffic laws, join hands with functional forces to maintain peace in their hometown villages.

In addition to performing her professional duties, Lieutenant Colonel Le Thi Hoai Huong is always concerned about the shortages and difficulties of people in the highlands. With a compassionate heart and a sense of responsibility, she has called for the cooperation of kind-hearted people to support the people. Most recently, thanks to her connection, 600 meaningful gifts were handed to people and students in the commune, adding motivation and confidence to those in difficult circumstances. Lieutenant Colonel Bui Van Thuong, Head of Dakrong Commune Police, said: "No matter what position she holds, Lieutenant Colonel Le Thi Hoai Huong always maintains the spirit of a People's Police officer. She works with a spirit of dedication and responsibility, always friendly with her comrades and teammates and close to the people."

As for the people of Dakrong highlands, the image of this female commune police officer has now become familiar and every time they mention her, they give her eyes of trust and affection: "Ms. Huong has not been in the commune for long but she is like a family member, everyone comes to her for anything". Perhaps, her sincerity, closeness and heart for the people have helped her quickly become a solid support for the people of the highlands. Lieutenant Colonel Le Thi Hoai Huong is not only a dedicated police officer but also a person who sows trust and fuels love for the villages with many difficulties.
