Before officially tying the knot, Huynh Thuy Tien and Tran Nghiep Tuan dated for six years. Currently, Thuy Tien (24 years old) works as a content creator and runs a beverage shop in Ho Chi Minh City. Nghiep Tuan (27 years old) works as a fitness trainer and creates content alongside his wife.
Sharing on the "Newlywed Couple" program, Tuan said that he and his wife met six years ago through a dating app. At that time, Tuan was helping his family sell car parts. During his lunch break, he accidentally saw his wife on the app.

Back then, Tuan wasn't a personal trainer (PT) and his physique wasn't as muscular as it is now. "At that time, he looked really cool in photos. He had a shaved head in black and white, looking like a gangster," Tien said.

Because they met online, the girl's family didn't fully trust her. Tien asked her brother at home to keep an eye on her phone so that if she called, he could pick her up immediately.
When they first met, the girl was quite surprised by Tuan's "streetwise" demeanor. She had never met anyone so "streetwise" before. Tuan, on the other hand, liked Tien because she seemed to have a strong personality.
The bride's family said they went to see a horror movie, but Tuan was afraid of ghosts. During their relationship, there was one time they had a falling out. At the time, Tuan was under a lot of work pressure and wasn't thinking clearly. He suggested breaking up with his girlfriend to focus on his work.
But Tien disagreed, saying, "You have no right to break up with me." Tien explained that saying "break up" while angry is inappropriate and immature. Therefore, she did not agree.
At that time, Tuan felt quite uncertain and needed to reconsider his career path and find stability. He decided to become a fitness trainer.
The groom shared: "If I didn't have my wife, I wouldn't be able to do this. Because everything I have is in it because of my wife." His wife was the one who advised him to pursue this path.

A year after meeting Tien, Tuan started training to become a personal trainer. After two years, he began competing. Before that, Tuan had a habit of bodybuilding. He wanted to learn more about the field to turn that habit into a profession.
"Back then, I didn't have any money. My wife had to work overtime to earn money so I could borrow it for my studies," Tuan said. At that time, Tien was 20-21 years old, working as a waitress at a tea shop. Not only did she invest in her boyfriend, but she was also his companion and supporter.
Whenever Tuan prepares for a competition, he has to work quite hard to strengthen his body. He has to cut back on water and follow an unusual diet. And Tien is the one who cooks for her boyfriend.
Despite being three years older than his wife, Tuan jokingly said of Tien: "She's my 'mother.' My wife takes care of everything so I can go to work with peace of mind. When I get home, I just shower, eat, and rest, so I love my wife very much."
