On April 17, Mr. Pham Trung Nghia, Chairman of the People's Committee of Buon Don District (Dak Lak), said that the first hot air balloon experience activity held in this province under the name "Dak Lak Hot Air Balloon Festival 2025 - Flying over the great forest" will take place in Buon Don District from May 1 to 3, with 12 hot air balloons performing.

"This is a large-scale event with attractive experiences for visitors such as free-flying and hanging hot air balloon performances, cultural exchange programs, traditional arts, food stalls and local specialties. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience service packages to watch the sunset and sunrise in the middle of the forest," Mr. Nghia informed.

Mr. Nghia also said that this event is not only for entertainment and art but also a bridge to promote culture, tourism potential, especially the identity of the ethnic groups in the Central Highlands, attracting tourists to Buon Don - a land with many elephants, famous for its tradition of hunting and taming wild elephants...

According to the organizers, the hot air balloon festival is expected to attract more than 100,000 visitors to Buon Don District in 3 days. To meet the diverse needs of visitors, the organizers offer many different types of tickets to experience hot air ballooning (prices from 140,000 VND - 800,000 VND), along with discounts when buying tickets online.
