At the 70th anniversary celebration of the Hanoi Children's Palace (June 1, 1955 - June 1, 2025), the glorious history of the Hanoi Children's Palace was reviewed by many generations of cadres, teachers and students.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Pham Tat Thang - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam - Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Youth Union... and more than 500 outstanding children representing more than one million children in the capital.

Many Ta Bich Loans grew up from Hanoi Children's Palace.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Duong Minh Duc - Vice Chairman of the City Youth Union Council, Director of Hanoi Children's Palace - reviewed the 70-year history of being the second home of tens of thousands of children in the capital.

Right after the capital was liberated, Hanoi Children's Academy became Hanoi Youth Club, under Hanoi Youth Union, a home dedicated to children, expanding activities to many fields such as fine arts, music , sports, and technology.

This childhood home has created conditions for children to develop their talents and collective spirit, to develop comprehensively, even in the difficult conditions of the country due to war and subsidies.

By 1985, the unit was officially named Hanoi Children's Palace, operating at 36 Ly Thai To, Hoan Kiem district.

From the initial simple classes, Hanoi Children's Palace now has a system of nearly 60 clubs and gifted classes, attracting thousands of children to participate each year.

One of the outstanding faces who grew up from Hanoi Children's Palace is journalist Ta Bich Loan.

In the traditional room of Hanoi Children's Palace, there is also a photo of Ta Bich Loan in the early 1980s welcoming the Czechoslovak delegation to visit Hanoi Children's Palace.

Ta Bich Loan still remembers that day in the palace there was a team of talented and dedicated staff.

The Board of Directors and the leaders have organized many creative activities such as: Uncle Ho's Good Children Congress, international children's exchanges, writing letters to international friends in the language they are learning, exchanging and meeting with famous writers, poets, artists, etc.

Her later successes as a journalist cannot be attributed to the years of training and studying at the Hanoi Children's Palace. And there are many Ta Bich Loans who have grown up from that common home for children.

"The future of your country will be in capable hands"

The traditional room of Hanoi Children's Palace also displays many guestbooks of international delegations highly appreciating the superiority of socialist education with the model of Hanoi Children's Palace.

Including the guestbook entries of the group of Americans who visited Hanoi on March 21, 1972.

The guestbook entries signed by Peter Seeger, Toshi, and Ji nya read: "We were overwhelmed by the children's warm welcome, and deeply moved by the beautiful building and the children's recreational activities there.

The talented young people that we met, observed and listened to proved to us that the future of your country will be in capable hands, that your unity will bring about a peaceful, democratic and prosperous Vietnam as Uncle Ho taught in the five teachings.

Although President Nixon is spreading death and destruction in your country, we still bring you greetings from millions of Americans who are fighting to end this criminal war of aggression.

"May the friendship between all the working people of the world endure forever."
