
The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force, Hue City Police, and the Police of wards and communes organized forces and vehicles to the flooded areas to search and assist in evacuating 1,214 elderly people, children, pregnant women and sick people to safe places or to medical facilities for treatment and emergency care; received information, organized search and rescue, and successfully supported 253 cases in deep flooded areas. In particular, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force approached and promptly rescued 2 cases whose boats capsized, were swept away by water and were trapped at the gate of Duc Buu village, Huong An ward.
Thanh Thuy Ward Police promptly rescued 4 people whose boat capsized and helped bring them home safely; mobilized 30 mobile police officers and soldiers to support Hue Central Hospital in moving more than 80 patients and medical equipment from flooded areas to higher floors.

At Hue Hotel, Nguyen Sinh Cung Street on the South bank of the Perfume River, there are about 50 tourists and 10 students staying temporarily. With rising floodwaters, power outages, and depleted food supplies, the hotel had to call for urgent support from the government and rescue forces. Immediately after receiving the information, the Logistics Department of Hue City Police promptly deployed forces, delivering drinking water, instant noodles, and some essential necessities to the hotel to help tourists and students while waiting for the water to recede.
Thuan Hoa Ward Police promptly assisted two French tourists and a tour guide stranded on Phan Chu Trinh Street, which was deeply flooded, to a safe place to stay; provided essential food for 21 Australian tourists at Roman Hotel, Nguyen Thai Hoc Street...

In the deeply flooded areas of Hue city, police officers and soldiers are still arranging forces to approach the deeply flooded areas, providing some necessary necessities for tourists and residents; and taking sick and seriously ill cases to the hospital.
Hue City Police organized 100% of its personnel to be on duty to respond to floods; mobilized about 6,350 officers and soldiers; 8,240 people from the grassroots security and order protection force to stay close to the area to ensure security and order, protect people's safety, and help evacuate people and property to limit damage.
