Gia Lai Provincial Police won third prize at the 9th National Health Congress and the 6th Military and Martial Arts Competition

(GLO)- On August 1, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Public Security held the closing ceremony of the 9th National Security Fitness Congress and the 6th Military and Martial Arts Competition in 2025. The Gia Lai Provincial Police team achieved high results in many competitions and won third place overall.

This event had the participation of more than 4,000 athletes who are officers and soldiers of 26 People's Public Security teams with high achievements in the qualifying round from the Departments of the Ministry of Public Security and local Public Security across the country.

At the military and martial arts competition, Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Son - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department excellently won a gold medal in the slow-fire competition with the CZ75-P07 gun.

In other competitions, the provincial police team won third prize in theory and a bronze medal in command in the regulations competition; third prize in ensemble performance and 44-movement division in the martial arts competition; bronze medal in the women's team in MP5 combined pistol shooting and bronze medal in the men's team in MP5 point-shooting.

At the National Security Fitness Congress, the Provincial Police won a gold medal in badminton for men's doubles aged 51 and over; and won two consolation prizes in chess.

At the end of the competition, the Gia Lai Provincial Police team ranked 8th out of 26 teams at the Regulation, Military, Martial Arts Competition and ranked 38th out of 98 teams at the Health for National Security Congress; won third prize overall.
