Announcement of Resolution to establish 3 schools under Hanoi National University of Education

GD&TĐ - On the afternoon of November 18, Hanoi National University of Education held a ceremony to announce the Resolution to establish 3 schools under Hanoi National University of Education.

3 schools under Hanoi National University of Education, including: School of Early Childhood Development Sciences; School of Educational Sciences; School of Mathematics and Information Technology. Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duc Son - Rector of Hanoi National University of Education emphasized that the establishment of the above 3 schools is just the beginning and there are many tasks ahead.

The teachers who take on the new responsibilities will shoulder a great responsibility: how to bring new strength and motivation, how to escape the vision of a department head to become leaders of an entire field, even inter-field. Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duc Son believes that with the joint efforts of the teachers, the establishment of 3 schools under Hanoi National University of Education will open up a new future of development.

The goal is for the School of Early Childhood Development Sciences to become a national key center for training, research and knowledge transfer on early childhood development sciences. The School conducts interdisciplinary research on early childhood; trains teachers and experts in early childhood education, teachers and experts in special education, staff supporting children with special needs, family education experts and experts in early childhood development policies; and at the same time fosters and improves the professional capacity of teachers, experts and managers in early childhood education.

With the School of Educational Sciences, the goal is to become a national key center for training, research and transfer of educational science knowledge. Accordingly, the school conducts basic and applied research on educational science; trains lecturers and researchers in the fields of educational science, including: Pedagogy, educational measurement and evaluation, general education, university education, education and community development, education and communication, educational management, educational technology, adult education and continuing education, educational psychology, school psychology and educational policy.

With the School of Mathematics and Information Technology, the goal is to become an excellent training center, advanced research approaching international standards in the field of Mathematics and Information Technology, contributing to the development of Vietnamese science and education in the digital age.

The School conducts basic and applied research in the fields of Mathematics, Applied Mathematics and Information Technology, develops modern, interdisciplinary research directions such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science...; trains teachers, lecturers and researchers, provides highly qualified human resources in the fields of Mathematics and Information Technology, especially promotes international cooperation in postgraduate training in the field of Mathematics.

The establishment of 3 schools aims to implement Decision 452/QD-TTg dated February 27, 2025 of the Prime Minister. In particular, Hanoi National University of Education is a national key higher education institution in pedagogy, oriented towards high-quality research and training, playing a core and leading role in the network of higher education institutions training teachers. At the same time, implementing Resolution 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo on Breakthrough in education and training development. This is also an important step in implementing the School Development Strategy to become Hanoi National University of Education.
