Announcing students who will be given priority for direct admission to university in 2025

TPO - The Ministry of Education and Training has just announced a list of 133 students exempted from the high school graduation exam and given priority for direct admission to university in this year's exam.

There are 133 students who are in the priority group. These are 12th graders who will participate in the national team selection exam for the 2025 regional and international Olympics.

Of which, Math has the largest number of candidates, up to 35 students; Physics 31 students; Chemistry 25 students and Biology - Informatics both have 21 students.

Accordingly, students whose names are on the official list will be exempted from the 2025 high school graduation exam, according to regulations. At the same time, the Ministry of Education and Training has also requested universities, academies, and colleges to prioritize direct admission in 2025 for students whose names are on the list.

This year’s High School Graduation Exam will take place from June 26-27 with approximately 1.17 million candidates nationwide participating. On June 25, candidates will go to the exam room to complete procedures.

2025 is the first year that candidates will take the exam according to the 2018 General Education Program with 4 subjects: Math, Literature and two elective subjects.

In addition, the Ministry of Education and Training has added an additional exam according to the 2006 General Education Program for last year's candidates with 4 exams including 6 subjects: Math, Literature, Foreign Language, Natural Science , Social Science (candidates choose 1 of the 2 exams).
