Vinschool honored 100 outstanding initiatives in the field of school mental health for the 2024-2025 school year at the system-wide Honor Ceremony. |
The program is for students from grades 1 to 12, focusing on 4 pillars of comprehensive development: Cognitive Health, Social Health, Emotional Health and Physical Health. Students are encouraged to identify problems, propose solutions, implement activities and spread messages based on their own real needs and true feelings. Each initiative is not just a task, but also demonstrates a spirit of initiative, responsibility and desire to contribute to positive changes and the development of the school community.

The exhibition “Ocean of You” – a journey to discover the inner ocean attracted more than 1,500 students to participate. |
Ms. Truong Thi Thuy Ha, parent of Vinser Ha Ngan - Vinser leading the "Good Night" project - confided: "Before, my family was not used to expressing feelings in words. But after only one month of my child implementing this idea, I was surprised to realize that the seemingly simple good night wishes had an extremely warm spreading power. I never thought that one day my child would take the initiative to do this, it was both surprising and touching. Since my child started saying good night wishes every night, my husband and I have felt lighter and more comfortable. The atmosphere in the house is also closer and warmer. Just a small action but it makes parents see that their child is gradually growing up, caring and loving more."
Over 4,200 students have been appointed as “Wellbeing Ambassadors” to lead, inspire and implement meaningful initiatives at their institutions, while over 20,800 students, teachers and parents have directly participated in or supported the implementation of the program.
Nguyen Ha Anh, an 11th grader, shared : “ Instead of just sharing my personal feelings, I choose to act so that my friends around me also feel safe and heard. We are not just talking about mental health, but actually making a change .”
A breakthrough in comprehensive health care strategy at Vinschool
In addition to “nurturing” knowledge, Vinschool constantly strengthens its system from policies, processes to professional staff to develop a core strategy: taking care of school mental health, aiming to bring students a journey of sustainable and comprehensive development.
The “School Mental Health Initiative” program marks a strong shift and demonstrates Vinschool’s focus on building a comprehensive learning environment, where students are empowered, from being supported and benefited to being “masters”.

“Vinser Corner” – a space for sharing emotions amidst the vibrant learning rhythm, recorded nearly 400 interactions after only two weeks of implementation. |
With the motto “For students – by students – by students”, Vinschool constantly promotes initiatives initiated by students themselves, directly planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the impact. From small ideas such as “secret confiding corner”, “emotional diary”, “sending good night wishes to parents”, to large-scale projects such as organizing workshops, producing podcasts, improving classroom space, building peer-to-peer support chains, etc., all deeply reflect the depth of awareness, empathy and responsibility of students towards themselves and the community. This is a clear demonstration of a comprehensiveeducational method, helping students learn about self-understanding, critical thinking, emotional management, teamwork, etc., and practice these things in real life to create real impact.

Going beyond the scope of a movement, Wellbeing Initiatives has become a true educational journey – where students truly take control of their own development and contribute to the community. Vinschool is committed to continuing to expand student-led school mental health care programs, aiming to build a young generation that is strong in both knowledge and spirit, independent in action and happy in life.
