Announcement of Decision to establish Party Cell of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company

(Baoquangngai.vn) - On the morning of February 3, the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises coordinated with Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company to organize the Ceremony to announce the Decision to establish the Party Cell of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company.

Attending the ceremony were Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Hong Minh; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board Lu Ngoc Binh; Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee Vo Van Quynh; Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc Nguyen Thanh.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Hong Minh and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Block Nguyen Thanh presented the Decision and flowers to congratulate the Executive Committee of the Party Cell of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company.

At the ceremony, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises Nguyen Thanh Binh announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises on the establishment of the Party Cell of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company under the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises, consisting of 28 Party members; announced the decision on the appointment of the Executive Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company, term 2020 - 2025, consisting of 5 comrades. Comrade Luu Thanh Tung, Party member, Head of the Human Resources Department of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company was appointed to hold the position of Party Cell Secretary.

Secretary of the Party Committee of Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Nguyen Thanh spoke at the ceremony.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises Nguyen Thanh said that Quang Ngai currently has 92 party organizations in enterprises with 2,396 party members, including 71 grassroots party organizations in private economic units.

Congratulating the Party Cell of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company and the comrades appointed to the Executive Committee, comrade Nguyen Thanh said that the establishment of the Party Cell at Hoa Phat Dung Quat aims to promote the pioneering and exemplary spirit of the Company's employees and key officials, contributing to the successful completion of production and business tasks, and further developing the Company.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Hong Minh spoke at the ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Hong Minh emphasized that the establishment of the Party Cell of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company is an important first step in developing the Party at the Company. The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Party Cell to fully disseminate the State's policies and laws to Party members and employees of the Company, organize Party activities in accordance with regulations, and build a clean and strong Party Cell. Party members in the Party Cell must be pioneers in life and production, setting an example for workers and laborers to follow.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Hong Minh requested the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises to direct specialized departments to guide the Company's Party Cell to develop working regulations, action programs, and plans to implement the assigned tasks.

Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company, a member of Hoa Phat Group, was established on February 3, 2017; it is the investor in constructing and operating the Hoa Phat Dung Quat Iron and Steel Complex with an investment capital of VND 86 trillion on an area of 342 hectares, with a capacity of 8 million tons/year in Dung Quat Economic Zone. The company is also constructing the Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 Iron and Steel Complex with an investment capital of VND 85 trillion, with a capacity of 5.6 million tons/year on an area of 280 hectares, which will be put into operation in 2025.

During the 7-year journey of building and developing with the collective will and steel spirit, the Company's staff and workers have united to bring Hoa Phat Dung Quat to the open sea. The Company is currently creating jobs for 15 thousand workers. Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel is also the most modern and closed-loop steel casting and rolling complex in Vietnam.
