Agribank Dak Lak Branch's Grassroots Trade Union: Unifying will, creating strong competitive motivation

During the past term, under the leadership of the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee, the Agribank Dak Lak Branch Trade Union has continuously innovated the content and methods of operation, closely linking trade union work with the political tasks of the unit. Propaganda and political and ideological education work has been widely deployed, helping union members and workers understand the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws. Thereby, each cadre and union member has well implemented the development orientation of the banking industry.

The staff and union members actively study and improve their professional qualifications and skills to meet the requirements of innovation and digital transformation in banking operations. The emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers" is deployed synchronously, receiving consensus and strong response from the headquarters to the member grassroots unions.

Thanks to the implementation of substantial emulation movements, the union targets have all been achieved and exceeded the set plan. Currently, the Agribank Trade Union Dak Lak Branch has 431 union members belonging to 17 affiliated unions. In the period of 2023 - 2025, most of the targets of the 7th Congress of the Vietnam Banking Trade Union have been achieved and exceeded by the unit, with a completion rate of 100% or more. The work of caring for and protecting the legal and legitimate rights of employees has received special attention; the total budget for visiting and supporting union members and employees in difficult circumstances, illness, Tet gifts... is more than 800 million VND.

Along with that, the Union always cares about the spiritual life of union members and workers through cultural, artistic and sports activities organized annually, creating a joyful and united atmosphere in the whole unit; contributing to improving health, strengthening team spirit and spreading Agribank culture to each union member. The model of "Union Meal" is maintained in the units, bringing warm moments, contributing to strengthening the camaraderie and building a humane and friendly working environment.

Social security work is one of the important highlights of the Agribank Dak Lak Branch's Trade Union. From the trade union's social fund, the branch has spent more than 2.5 billion VND to support the poor, overcome the consequences of natural disasters, and repay gratitude. At the same time, it has coordinated with specialized departments to implement many social security programs with a total budget of more than 20 billion VND, strongly spreading the spirit of "Agribank - Compassion".

In addition, the emulation movement and reward work are always focused on, creating motivation for union members and workers to strive to complete their tasks well. In the period of 2023 - 2025, the entire grassroots Trade Union had 42 union members awarded the "For the cause of Vietnam Banking" medal; 8 union members received certificates of merit from the Vietnam Banking Trade Union; hundreds of individuals and collectives were commended and rewarded at all levels. Notably, the emulation movement "Good at banking work, good at housework" continues to be maintained and widely spread among female union members, with 163 female union members recognized with this title in the recent period, demonstrating the active role, sense of responsibility and ingenuity of female workers in completing professional tasks well, while fostering family happiness.

According to Ms. Trinh Thi Bich Lan, Deputy Director, Chairwoman of the Agribank Dak Lak Branch Trade Union, the results of the past term are clear evidence of the solidarity of the union members and workers of Agribank Dak Lak Branch. Each movement and each practical action contributes to building a strong trade union organization, better caring for the interests of workers.

Promoting the achieved results, in the 2025 - 2030 term, the Agribank Dak Lak Branch Trade Union continues to innovate the content and methods of operation; take better care of the material and spiritual life and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers. The Trade Union also strengthens coordination with professionals, promotes collective strength, contributes to the excellent completion of business tasks and builds a strong organization.
