On October 15, the Vietnam News Agency Trade Union organized a seminar on women's health care with the theme "Health is beauty" at the NURA High-Tech Screening Center, Hanoi .

This is a meaningful event to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union and Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20).

Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh, Head of the Women's Union of Vietnam News Agency, said that health is an important issue for everyone, especially women.

“In today’s modern life, women not only take care of family matters but also have certain roles in agencies and organizations, so sometimes they neglect their own health. For that reason, the Vietnam News Agency Trade Union coordinated to organize this workshop to encourage women to spend more time caring for themselves, knowing how to balance between self-care and taking care of work and family,” said Ms. Ngoc Anh.

The Vietnam News Agency Trade Union and the Women's Union have collaborated with the NURA High-Tech Screening Center to "design" a meaningful program, providing knowledge about common diseases in women, updating the most advanced technology in screening and detecting cancer at an early stage.

Through this meaningful event, the Vietnam News Agency Trade Union hopes that participants will spread useful knowledge to colleagues, union members in the agency as well as family members to improve health care for everyone.

Sharing her experience when participating in the workshop, reporter Le Huong Hien, a member of the Ethnic and Mountainous Photo Newspaper Union, said that the Vietnam News Agency Union was very "psychological" when choosing the topic for this workshop because cancer treatment and early cancer detection are issues that Ms. Hien and many other women are very interested in.

"In addition to specialized knowledge, I also listened to doctors' advice and answered questions about women's health care, clinical signs of cancer, as well as current technologies for diagnosing and detecting early cancer," Ms. Hien shared.

The workshop had the participation of presentations and consultations from Dr. Phan Tat Dat (T-Matsuoka) and Dr. Nguyen Phuong Tu, lecturer of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Hanoi Medical University./.
