The results achieved by the industrial sector in the first nine months clearly reflect the adaptability and recovery capacity of enterprises. At the same time, they show the effectiveness of the city government's support and companionship policies in promoting industrial production.
Positive signals from businesses
In the context of the global textile market still having many fluctuations, Hoa Tho Textile and Garment Joint Stock Corporation recorded results of VND 4,202 billion in consolidated revenue and VND 329 billion in pre-tax profit after 9 months, reaching 83% and 91% of the yearly plan, respectively. The company expects to reach VND 1,023 billion in revenue and VND 71 billion in consolidated profit in the fourth quarter of 2025, striving to complete the entire yearly plan.
The business representative said that the above results were achieved thanks to the slight increase in domestic fabric demand and export orders during the peak season and the recovery from the Chinese and Korean markets. However, there are still many difficulties because the US market tends to slow down due to rising consumer prices, while Europe and Japan tighten “green” standards, requiring businesses to meet additional environmental certifications and traceability. At the same time, the cotton, fiber and yarn market has not shown any signs of a breakthrough in the last months of the year.
Regarding the field of seafood production and export, Thuan Phuoc Seafood and Trading Joint Stock Company recorded revenue in the third quarter of 2025 reaching VND 943.6 billion, an increase of 18.91% compared to the same period in 2024 (VND 793.57 billion), while financial expenses and sales expenses in the third quarter of 2025 decreased by 6.31% and 6.95% respectively compared to the same period in 2024. Explaining the above results, Mr. Tran Van Linh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thuan Phuoc Seafood and Trading Joint Stock Company, said that due to increased sales in the European market, specifically in the third quarter of 2025, it reached 20.66 million USD (in the third quarter of 2024, it reached 12.57 million USD). At the same time, the enterprise is proactive in producing goods in response to new tax policies, restructuring the market, and increasing exports to emerging markets.
