Recognizing 2 localities for completing new rural construction

Quang Ninh province completes the task of building new rural areas

Specifically, in Decision No. 1013/QD-TTg, the Deputy Prime Minister recognized Quang Ninh province as completing the task of building new rural areas by 2024.

The People's Committee of Quang Ninh province is responsible for announcing and rewarding according to regulations; continuing to maintain and improve the quality of criteria, focusing on economic and environmental criteria to ensure sustainability in new rural construction.

After 14 years of implementing the national target program on new rural construction, with the continuous efforts of Party committees and authorities at all levels, the joint efforts of the people, and through many flexible, creative, innovative, and grassroots-based methods, Quang Ninh has achieved a number of important results.

The whole province has 91/91 communes meeting new rural standards, 54/91 communes (59.3% of total communes) meeting advanced new rural standards, 25/91 communes meeting model new rural standards, 5/7 districts meeting the criteria and indicators of districts meeting advanced new rural standards. Average income per capita in rural areas reached 84.14 million VND/person/year. The rate of trained workers reached 87%. The rate of rural households using clean water reached 99.99%.

Quang Ninh province will continue the plan to improve the quality of new rural and advanced new rural criteria on the basis of closely following the resolutions of the Central and the province to build a modern, prosperous, happy, democratic, civilized countryside; with a synchronous, modern, interconnected, comprehensive socio-economic infrastructure; a green, clean, beautiful environment; a healthy cultural life, which is a continuous process without an end point.

Ky Anh Town: 6 wards meet civilized urban standards, 4 new rural communes

In Decision No. 1016/QD-TTg, the Deputy Prime Minister recognized Ky Anh town, Ha Tinh province, as completing the task of building new rural areas by 2024.

The People's Committee of Ha Tinh province is responsible for announcing and rewarding according to regulations; directing the People's Committee of Ky Anh town to continue to maintain and improve the quality of criteria, focusing on planning and environmental criteria to ensure sustainability in new rural construction.

Ky Anh town is a southern urban area of ​​Ha Tinh province, established in 2015. Ky Anh town currently has 6 wards (Ky Lien, Ky Long, Ky Phuong, Ky Thinh, Ky Trinh and Hung Tri) and 5 communes (Ky Ninh, Ky Ha, Ky Hoa, Ky Nam, Ky Loi).

By December 31, 2024, 6/6 wards have been recognized as meeting civilized urban standards; 4/4 communes have been recognized as meeting new rural standards (Ky Nam, Ky Hoa, Ky Ha, Ky Ninh); in which, Ky Ha and Ky Ninh communes have been recognized as meeting advanced new rural standards. Ky Loi commune is located in Vung Ang Economic Zone, planned as industrial land, the province is carrying out relocation, resettlement, and site clearance to implement investment projects in the area.

The total mobilized budget for new rural construction from 2015 to June 2024 in Ky Anh town is 1,201.236 billion VND. The town has no outstanding debt for basic construction in implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction.
