From 2024 to April 2025, the Company has completed and put into operation 7 new 110kV transformer stations including: Thach Thanh, Vinh Loc, Sam Son 2, Hoang Hoa 2, Bac Thanh city, Thieu Hoa and Nam Thanh city - bringing the total to 31 110kV stations with 49 transformers with a total installed capacity of 2,237 MVA, an increase of 457 MVA compared to the same period in 2024; 72 110kV lines with a total length of 1,117.19 km; 7,526.84 km of medium voltage lines and 13,111.5 km of low voltage lines. At the same time, the capacity at important stations such as Bim Son, Tho Xuan, Sam Son, Ba Thuoc... has also been significantly upgraded. Along with that, the medium and high voltage line system has been renovated, connected, supplemented with loop circuits, and reasonably shared the load to increase reliability and flexibility in operation. In particular, the Company has proposed to invest in adding a 110kV loop circuit to line 174E9.5 - an important line supplying many large stations - to meet the N-1 criteria, avoiding interruptions when incidents occur... Thereby, ensuring operation and power supply for more than 854 thousand customers in the whole province.
A highlight is the promotion of technology application in grid operation management. As of mid-March 2025, 26/31 110kV stations have been switched to unmanned mode and remotely controlled at the Control Center (CCC). The remaining stations are in the process of completing documents, ensuring they are put into operation before the peak season.
Automation helps improve accuracy in dispatching, save manpower and increase operational efficiency. However, the Company still increases the on-call force at key locations during the holidays, ensuring timely handling of arising situations.
Workers of Sam Son City Electricity (PC Thanh Hoa) check and handle defects in the power grid system to ensure safe and stable power supply during the hot season of 2025.
Along with investment and management solutions, PC Thanh Hoa also directed its affiliated units to strengthen inspection and comprehensive review of the power grid. A series of potential incident points were detected and promptly resolved; defects in the equipment system, power lines, and transformer stations were thoroughly handled to ensure operational safety in all situations.
Since the beginning of 2025, many Power Companies under PC Thanh Hoa have organized campaigns to liberate the power grid safety corridor.
In particular, the work of clearing the power grid safety corridor was carried out synchronously and drastically with close coordination from local authorities. Units simultaneously took action to deal with trees and obstacles that violated the power grid safety corridor, especially in mountainous and hilly areas, which are inherently risky when storms and strong winds occur. This is one of the key tasks to help minimize incidents and improve the stability of the power system in the upcoming storm season.
Thanh Hoa Electricity Company works with Nghi Son Steel Company Limited (VAS) on load adjustment and electricity saving in 2025.
In order to reduce pressure on the power system during peak hours of hot weather, Thanh Hoa PC has proactively worked with major customers - especially industrial production enterprises with high electricity consumption - to develop a plan to adjust the load according to the time frame. Solutions such as extending shifts, reducing load during peak hours, arranging production reasonably, using energy-saving equipment, upgrading and renovating machinery and equipment have been and are being agreed upon by many enterprises. Thanh Hoa PC will accompany and provide technical support and advice on solutions for efficient electricity use, at the same time organize the signing of commitments with customers and carry out load adjustment when requested by the electricity industry - contributing to improving operational efficiency and ensuring stable electricity supply for the whole society.

Not only focusing on infrastructure and technology, Thanh Hoa Electricity Company also gives special priority to improving the quality of customer service. Along with that, propaganda programs and instructions on using electricity economically, safely and effectively are widely deployed through television, social networks, billboards, through loudspeakers, directly with residential groups, mobile media... This is an important part of the effort to develop sustainably and build a friendly and close image of the electricity industry.
Currently, from the Company to its affiliated units, Facebook fanpages have been set up with a large proportion of customers registering and interacting effectively with the channel. All customer suggestions and questions are answered quickly and accurately by the Company's communications team. In addition, this team controls and captures information about electricity every day, paying special attention to searching and classifying information types. If there are any unfavorable factors, they will be reported to the unit's leaders and the Company will direct timely handling to avoid a communication crisis... Thereby contributing to maintaining the unit's image, increasing satisfaction for electricity customers and the community.
Power workers under PC Thanh Hoa inform and answer customers' questions about their family's meter readings after conducting an inspection to ensure objectivity, transparency and publicity.
In addition to on-site inspections by affiliated units, PC Thanh Hoa has established working groups directly led by the Company's leaders to organize specialized inspections and re-inspections before the hot season. The inspection contents focus on: receiving and handling customer feedback related to meter readings and electricity bills via the CRM system; progress of meter readings, issuing bills, and collecting electricity bills; re-inspection work in normal and abnormal weather conditions; controlling customer service work, signing commitments to follow the correct procedures.
At the same time, the delegations also inspected the implementation of the electricity saving program, load adjustment (DR), load forecasting, information and answered customers' questions about meter readings after the inspection to ensure objectivity, transparency and publicity to customers and communication work during the hot season. At the scene, the delegations also conducted an overall assessment of technical conditions, operational safety and incident response capabilities. Through the inspection, many issues were promptly corrected, contributing to improving the operational efficiency of the entire system during the upcoming peak period.
With a commitment to ensure electricity supply in the summer of 2025, Director of Thanh Hoa Electricity Company - Mr. Hoang Hai shared: "We clearly identify the responsibility of the electricity industry in ensuring a stable power source, especially during times of high demand such as holidays and summer. Director Hoang Hai also added: To support customers during peak times, the Company's Board of Directors has requested all affiliated power companies to arrange 24/7 staff, prepare adequate supplies, spare equipment, means of transport and on-site incident handling forces. Simulated situations of widespread power outages are also periodically rehearsed to improve the ability to respond quickly and effectively handle incidents.
