Traffic Police Department announced 30 driving test centers qualified to operate.

A representative of the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) said that the Department has just announced a list of 30 type 1 and 2 driving test centers that have been licensed under Decree 160/2024.

Accordingly, all 30 centers are tested for license categories such as A1, A, B automatic, B mechanical, C1. Some are also tested for D2, D, CE...

Class 1 and 2 driving test centers are classified according to regulations on facilities and scope of driving license testing. Class 1 centers have large areas, meeting the requirements for testing and issuing driving licenses for more categories, including trucks and passenger cars.

Type 2 driving test center has a smaller area, meeting the requirements for testing and issuing driving licenses for popular vehicle classes such as motorbikes, cars and light trucks.

From March 1, traffic police nationwide began taking over the tasks of organizing driving tests, issuing driving licenses; changing and reissuing driving licenses; issuing international driving licenses... from the transport sector.
