Provide information to reputable people in Phu Luong

Representatives of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions presented gifts to encourage prestigious people in Phu Luong district.

At the Conference, representatives of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions informed delegates of a number of important goals and targets for the 2024-2029 period, which were determined at the 4th Congress of Ethnic Minorities in Thai Nguyen Province. Notably, the goals are: Raising the average income of ethnic minorities to 60% compared to the national average; 100% of communes in ethnic minority and mountainous areas meeting new rural standards; 100% of people have access to clean water; there are no more extremely disadvantaged communes in the area.

The province also aims to promote the preservation and promotion of traditional cultural identities of ethnic groups; build a contingent of ethnic minority cadres with a reasonable proportion and structure; ensure national defense, security and social order and safety in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

Currently, Phu Luong district has 171 prestigious people in the ethnic minority community. Over the years, this team has effectively promoted the role of a bridge between the Party Committee, the government and the people; mobilized people to implement policies well, contributing to maintaining security and order and promoting local socio -economic development.

The meeting was also an opportunity for delegates to exchange experiences, spread good models and creative ways of doing propaganda and mobilizing ethnic minorities.

On this occasion, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions presented many gifts to encourage prestigious people of Phu Luong district, recognizing their positive contributions to the development of Thai Nguyen province.
