Extraordinary meeting decides Amorim's future at MU

According to The Athletic , Amorim was unusually summoned to a monthly meeting of the senior MU board, which is usually not attended by the head coach. This meeting was held right after MU ended a disappointing season with 18 losses in the Premier League, finishing in 15th place.

Amorim flew from Bilbao to Monaco overnight to explain his future plans and why he deserved to stay. After the meeting, he returned to Manchester and the next day, announced to the team that he would continue to lead United next season.
