Today (April 28), the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City Television Cycling Cup took place in stage 23 from Can Tho to Ben Tre, 134 km long, with the result not surprising when the winner at the finish line was a familiar face, Nick Kergozou.

Aiming to equal the record of 10 stage wins achieved by Petr Rikunov (Loc Troi An Giang Group team) in 2 consecutive seasons 2023, 2024, Nick Kergozou was shielded and supported by the Vinh Long cycling team to 100m before the finish line to compete in the sprint. Therefore, all the group's attacks were successfully chased by the 620 Nong Nghiep Vinh Long and 620 Chau Thoi Vinh Long teams.

Anticipating Nick Kergozou's strength at the finish line, in the last 10 km, the Military Zone 7 and Domesco Pharmaceutical Dong Thap teams proactively arranged their formations to bring their main forces up front to compete. However, the Vinh Long team still kept the "tractor" to put Nick Kergozou in a favorable position. About 100 m from the finish line, the New Zealand foreign player unleashed his strength to reach the finish line first in Ben Tre City. This was Nick Kergozou's 10th stage victory, helping him complete his goal of equaling Petr Rikunov's record. Not only maintaining the green jersey title, Nick Kergozou also aimed to break the stage winning record at the Ho Chi Minh City Television Cycling Cup when there were 2 stages left in the tournament.
