Currently, the area of ​​longan cultivation in the province is over 4.9 thousand hectares. Of which, the area of ​​longan at harvest age is 4.6 thousand hectares. This year's longan crop, the flowering and fruiting rate reached over 90% of the trees at harvest age (30-35% higher than last year). Currently, longan is in the stage of developing young fruit.

Some areas of early-flowering processed longan (about 350 hectares) are being harvested, concentrated in Khoai Chau, Kim Dong, Tien Lu, An Thi districts... with a total estimated output of nearly 4 thousand tons of fruit, selling price from 50 to 70 thousand VND/kg.
