Accordingly, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Soc Trang province said that the unit has received information reflecting from people in the province about CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company producing and processing food that does not ensure food hygiene and safety.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment of Soc Trang province is urgently establishing an interdisciplinary inspection team to inspect individuals and organizations with activities related to the field of animal husbandry and veterinary medicine in the province.

However, to clarify the information about the epidemic and images of sick pigs in the people's reflection (with noted locations in Hau Giang province), the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Soc Trang province requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Hau Giang province to direct specialized agencies to coordinate in checking and verifying related information and images.

Previously, on Facebook, information quickly spread about a "former employee" of CP Fresh Shop in My Xuyen, Soc Trang (belonging to CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company) reporting that the company intentionally smuggled poor quality meat products into the market.
