Ca Mau veterans set up memorial portraits to commemorate General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong

On July 20, according to the announcement from the Funeral Committee of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, the funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will be held according to the National Funeral rites, taking place on July 25 and 26. On the same day, Colonel Vo Ha Do, former Head of the Propaganda Department of the Veterans Association of Ca Mau province, solemnly placed the portrait of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on the altar at his home in Ward 9, Ca Mau City. Mr. Do and local veterans burned incense to commemorate and express their condolences to the Party leader who devoted himself to the people and the country.

"Uncle Nguyen Phu Trong is a talented leader of the country. During his terms as General Secretary, Uncle Trong contributed to the development of the country. With the heart of a son of Ca Mau, the southernmost place of the Fatherland, I and my fellow veterans set up an altar to worship Uncle Trong," said Colonel Vo Ha Do. Mr. Do continued: "We will turn grief into action, at the same time have absolute faith in the leadership of the Party, trust in the next generation of cadres, and are determined to contribute to building the homeland to become more and more prosperous." According to Colonel Vo Ha Do, due to the remote conditions, unable to return to Hanoi to attend the funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, local veterans set up an altar to burn incense early in the morning to remember the country's leader. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ngung (Veterans Association, Hamlet 4, Ward 9, Ca Mau City) also said that when he heard the news of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's death, he was very sad. According to him, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong is a respected leader in the hearts of the people. Mr. Ngung also went to Colonel Vo Ha Do's house to set up a portrait and burn incense on the altar to express his infinite condolences to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. "In the future, there will certainly be more people coming here to burn incense to show their gratitude to Uncle Trong," Mr. Ngung said.

The coffin of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong lies in state at the National Funeral Home No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi. The funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will be held at the National Funeral Home No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi, from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on July 25 and from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on July 26. The memorial service for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will be held at 1:00 p.m. on July 26 at the National Funeral Home No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi. The burial ceremony will be at 3:00 p.m. the same day at Mai Dich Cemetery, Hanoi.
