From September 6th, 2024 to the present, Typhoon No. 3 and subsequent floods have caused serious damage to lives and property, significantly impacting the lives and business activities of people in many provinces and cities in the North, such as Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Hanoi, Hoa Binh, Bac Giang, Cao Bang, Yen Bai, Lai Chau , Son La, etc.

To help alleviate the difficulties faced by those affected by storms and floods, Vietcombank, acting as a bridge, quickly coordinated with organizations/units/funds at the central and local levels (Vietnam Fatherland Front, Red Cross, support funds, etc.) to open accounts and upload information to the VCB Digibank digital banking platform. This allows people across the country to transfer donations 24/7 with just a few simple steps, and the donated money will be transferred to the designated support accounts.

To transfer money, customers just need to do the following:

§ Step 1: Log in to VCB Digibank.

§ Step 2: Select the “Charity Transfer” feature or type the keyword “Charity Transfer” in the search box.

Step 3: Choose the "Fund/Charity" you wish to support.

§ Step 4: Verify and complete the transaction.

Not only updating the "Charity Transfer" feature on VCB Digibank, in the next few days, Vietcombank will add a list of Organizations/Units/Funds to the point redemption list in VCB Rewards so that customers can convert accumulated points of the loyalty program into money to support compatriots. In addition, Vietcombank will deploy the "Charity Transfer" feature on VCB DigiBiz (digital bank for SMEs).

By opening additional quick and convenient donation channels like the ones mentioned above, Vietcombank hopes to contribute a small part to helping people in affected areas alleviate difficulties, gradually overcome the damage caused by storms and floods, and quickly stabilize their lives.

Your donations will be directly transferred by Vietcombank to the accounts of organizations/units/funds at the central and local levels. Vietcombank does not receive donations and does not participate in the management, allocation, or use of these donations.

Additionally, to use this feature, please update your VCB Digibank application to the latest version (5.9.1).
