Da Nang: Preferential loan of 70 billion VND to build Hoa Vang Logistics Service Center

DNVN - The Da Nang City Development Investment Fund has agreed to lend Da Nang Port 70 billion VND in preferential loans, with interest rates applied to group II - priority group (6.1%/year) to invest in the construction of the Hoa Vang Logistics Service Center.

According to the Da Nang Development Investment Fund, Resolution 43-NQ/TW of the Politburo on building and developing Da Nang City to 2030, with a vision to 2045, has set the goal of building Da Nang City into one of the major socio-economic centers, forming a logistics service supply chain in the Central region.

Identifying logistics services as a key economic sector, with a major impact on socio-economic growth, Da Nang City is focusing on implementing key and dynamic projects. Notably, the shared infrastructure of Lien Chieu port area, logistics center at Da Nang International Airport as well as logistics centers and dry ports.

In particular, Da Nang Port Joint Stock Company is investing in the Hoa Vang Logistics Service Center project in Hoa Son and Hoa Nhon communes (Da Nang City) including a container yard, a refrigerated container yard, a cargo inspection yard, a general yard, a bonded warehouse area, a warehouse area, a repair workshop area, a service office area and other accompanying facilities.

At the same time, Da Nang Port also invested in a synchronous system of machinery and equipment for loading and unloading containers using RSD, Forklift, 1-3T forklifts in the warehouse, transporting containers using tractors, trailers, RSD forklifts, empty forklifts along with power supply, water supply and fire protection systems.

The total investment capital of the project is 550 billion VND, of which construction cost is 413 billion VND, machinery and equipment cost is 25.2 billion VND, the rest is other costs (consulting, project management, site clearance, etc.). Project investment progress is from the first quarter of 2023 to the first quarter of 2026.

Accompanying and supporting businesses with project investment capital, Da Nang City Development Investment Fund has received the loan application from Da Nang Port and issued Decision 59/QD-HDQL (June 30, 2025) agreeing to lend 70 billion VND, interest rate applied according to group II - priority group (6.1%/year), loan term of 10 years (grace period of 1 year).

The leaders of Da Nang Port said that the preferential loan capital from the City Development Investment Fund contributed to supporting the unit to invest in synchronous infrastructure to serve the exploitation and business of logistics services. Thereby affirming the position and role of Da Nang Port in the socio-economic development not only of Da Nang City but also of the Central - Central Highlands region and the East - West Economic Corridor.

The completion of the Hoa Vang logistics service center will become an important link in the goods supply chain, promoting the economy of the Central Highlands and improving logistics services in Da Nang. In particular, it will solve the overload due to the current scale and area of the yard at Tien Sa port not meeting the increasing demand for storage and import and export of goods through Da Nang Port.
