As a result, Da Nang won 4 prizes: 1 third prize and 3 promising prizes. Specifically, the third prize went to a group of students from the University of Technology (University of Da Nang) with a project to design an AES-128 encryption/decryption IP on ASICs; 3 promising prizes went to 2 groups of students from the Vietnam - Korea University of Information Technology and Communications (University of Da Nang) and 1 group of students from the University of Technology.

This year’s competition attracted 68 projects from 27 universities across the country, with nearly 300 contestants participating, an increase of 71% compared to the first season. The organizing committee awarded 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 2 third prizes, 4 consolation prizes and 19 promising prizes.

Contestants have the opportunity to access professional microchip design processes, receive support from leading experts and connect directly with manufacturing and trading enterprises in the high-tech field. In particular, the contest is an effective pilot model of the 4-party cooperation mechanism (State - School - Enterprise - Investor), contributing to shortening the gap from training to practice, from research to market.
