Da Nang simultaneously started construction of 5 boarding schools in border communes

On the morning of November 16, the People's Committee of Da Nang City held a groundbreaking ceremony for five primary and secondary boarding schools in five border communes.

The five school projects include A Vuong Primary - Secondary Boarding School, located in A Zut village, A Vuong commune. Hung Son Primary - Secondary Boarding School, Hung Son commune. La Ee Primary - Secondary Boarding School, Pa Ooi village, La Ee commune. La Dee Primary - Secondary Boarding School, Dac Re village, La Dee commune. Dac Pring Primary - Secondary Boarding School, village 56A, Dac Pring commune (old Quang Nam ).

At the groundbreaking ceremony of the Dac Pring Primary and Secondary Boarding School, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, emphasized: "The new schools will be places to sow knowledge, light up dreams, and symbolize the spirit of national unity." At the same time, he reminded units to absolutely not allow corruption, loss, or waste to occur.

According to the Quang Nam Construction Investment Project Management Board (investor), the project has a total investment of more than 288 billion VND, with a scale of more than 60,000 m². The project includes two three-story classroom blocks, a three-story administrative block, a dining block, a multi-purpose building, a three-story student dormitory, and a three-story teacher-staff housing.

On the same day, Mr. Pham Duc An, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, attended the groundbreaking ceremony of A Vuong Primary - Secondary Boarding School.

The project was approved by the Central and City leaders with a total estimated cost of 293,161 billion VND. The project includes a 30-room classroom block for about 1,000 students; renovating a multi-purpose building into a one-story library; building a dormitory, teachers' housing, a dining hall and a multi-purpose gymnasium...

Previously, Tay Giang Commune Primary and Secondary Boarding School started construction on October 16.

Six boarding schools in six border communes were built with a total investment of about 1,500 billion VND.
