The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued a Plan to implement the Project "Supporting cooperatives managed by women, creating jobs for female workers by 2030".

The project aims to create more jobs for female workers through consulting activities, supporting the promotion of internal strength, and arousing the spirit of cooperation and creative entrepreneurship among members and women.

The subjects participating in the Project are cooperatives managed and operated by women; cooperatives that create many jobs for female workers; cooperatives that produce according to the value chain, apply technology, promote traditional occupations, restore culture, exploit indigenous resources; female managers and operators of cooperatives, cooperative groups, service groups/teams; members and workers in cooperatives that create many jobs for female workers.

Members, women who want to participate in the development of collective economy , cooperatives, cooperative groups, service groups/teams. Priority is given to women from poor, near-poor, disadvantaged households, women living in difficult areas, areas of agricultural land conversion, workers who have lost their jobs in industrial zones, etc.

The project implementation period is from 2023 to 2030, with 2 phases. In which, phase 1: From 2023 to 2025, the quality and efficiency of operations for at least 50 cooperatives, cooperative groups, joint groups, service groups/teams managed and operated by women will be consolidated and improved; the cooperatives will create many jobs for female workers. Create stable jobs for at least 500 members and female workers in the women's economic development model.

Strive for 90% of female managers of cooperatives to be trained, fostered, and have improved awareness of digital transformation, management and operation capacity suitable for production and business activities. At the same time, advise and support the establishment of at least 15 new cooperatives, cooperative groups, joint groups, service groups/teams managed and operated by women; create new jobs for at least 70 female workers who are members of cooperatives, cooperative groups, etc.

In the 2026-2030 period, the Project aims to improve the quality and operational efficiency of at least 70 cooperatives, joint groups, and service groups/teams. Create stable jobs for at least 700 members and female workers in the women's economic development model; 100% of female managers of cooperatives are trained, fostered, and have improved awareness, digital skills, management and operational capacity in accordance with the production and business activities of the cooperative.

Consulting and supporting the establishment of at least 35 new cooperatives, cooperative groups, association groups, service groups/teams managed and operated by women; creating new jobs for 300 female workers; 100% of the Association's staff working to support the development of collective economy and cooperatives are trained in knowledge...

The project "Supporting cooperatives managed by women, creating jobs for female workers by 2030" in the city aims to raise awareness of cadres, members and women about the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on the development of collective economy and cooperatives. Developing, consolidating and improving the efficiency of cooperatives, association groups, service groups/teams managed by women, creating more jobs for female workers through consulting activities, supporting the promotion of internal strength, arousing the spirit of cooperation, creative start-up of members and women, preserving cultural identity. Thereby, increasing the participation of women in all areas of social life, contributing to the implementation of socio-economic development goals, international integration and gender equality.
