The University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi has just announced its 2026 enrollment plan with many new points. The school plans to open two new majors: Human Resource Management and Multimedia Communications, bringing the total number of training majors to 30.
The school maintains 3 admission methods, including: Direct admission; Considering HSA capacity assessment test scores of Hanoi National University and Considering high school graduation exam scores.
The most notable change is that the school plans to eliminate the admission combination C00 (Literature; History; Geography) in 15 majors, including 2 new majors, with the method of considering high school graduation exam results. In addition, the school will not consider the combination D66 (Literature; English; Economic and Legal Education).
Formula for calculating admission scores to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2026:
Total admission score = (Subject 1 score + Subject 2 score + Subject 3 score x 2) x 3/4 + Encouragement score (if any) + priority score (if any)

Regarding the 2026 enrollment target, the school will announce it after Hanoi National University approves it.
In 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will enroll 2,650 students, with admission scores ranging from 21.75 to 29. Psychology leads with 29 points. Three majors with scores of 28 or higher include Journalism, Oriental Studies, and Public Relations.
