Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics announced minimum admission scores

GD&TĐ - On the afternoon of July 21, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics (UEH) announced the minimum admission scores for various methods and predicted that the standard scores could increase or decrease within 1 point.

UEH announced the threshold to ensure input quality (minimum score, floor score) for candidates applying for admission to the 51st course - Regular University (KSA and KSV) according to 5 methods.

Accordingly, the floor scores remain stable compared to 2024.

In 2025, UEH will not conduct early admission. Admission methods include:

- Direct admission method according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (PT1).

- Admission method for candidates who graduated from foreign high school programs and have international certificates (PT2).

- Admission method for candidates with good academic results (PT3).

- Admission method for candidates with combined competency assessment test results and English proficiency (PT4).

- Admission method is based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam combined with English proficiency (PT5).

At the main office in Ho Chi Minh City (KSA):

The minimum score is 702.00 points - Admission method is based on the results of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment test combined with English proficiency;

22.00 points - Admission method for candidates with good academic results;

20.00 points - Admission method based on 2025 high school graduation exam results combined with English proficiency.

At Vinh Long Branch (KSV):

The minimum score is 601.00 points - Admission method is based on the results of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment test combined with English proficiency;

225.00 points - Admission method based on the results of the V-SAT university entrance exam organized by Can Tho University in 2025 combined with English proficiency;

19.50 points - Admission method based on good academic results;

16.00 points - Admission method based on 2025 high school graduation exam results combined with English proficiency.

Training programs: Agribusiness, Management, International Business, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Finance, Banking, Tax, Business Accounting, Hotel Management, E-commerce, Business English, Economic Law, Technology and Innovation, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (engineering system).

The input quality assurance threshold does not include priority scores by region or subject, and is not multiplied by coefficients.

In there:

- Admission method is based on the results of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment test combined with English proficiency on a 1,200-point scale;

- Admission method is based on the results of the V-SAT university entrance exam organized by Can Tho University in 2025 combined with English proficiency on a 450-point scale;

- Admission method for candidates with good academic results and Admission method based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam combined with English proficiency on a 30-point scale with admission combinations of 3 subjects/exams corresponding to each training program.

UEH said that up to now, the school has received a large number of applications from both the Ho Chi Minh City campus (school code KSA) and the UEH Mekong campus (school code KSV, studying in Vinh Long).

At KSA, 70% of the applications are from candidates with excellent academic achievements or higher, or are specialized school students, excellent students at the provincial/municipal level, 40% have international English certificates equivalent to IELTS from 6.0 or TOEFL iBT from 73 points or higher, or have excellent student awards at the provincial/municipal level.

At KSV, 50% of the applications are candidates with excellent academic achievements or higher, or are specialized school students, excellent students at the provincial/municipal level, 20% have international English certificates equivalent to IELTS from 6.0 or TOEFL iBT from 73 points or higher, or have excellent student awards at the provincial/municipal level.

With the current profile situation, the predicted benchmark score will tend to fluctuate up/down within 1 point depending on the training program.

To increase the chances of being admitted to UEH, candidates should note:

+ Submit full evidence to achieve maximum bonus points to increase the chance of being admitted to UEH (including: valid international English certificate (IELTS from 6.0 or higher); awards (First, Second, Third) in the provincial and city-level High School Excellent Student selection exam; awards/recognition of the title of Excellent Student, Good Student for the entire year of grade 10, grade 11, grade 12).

+ UEH encourages registration of the second choice at UEH Mekong (school code KSV, studying in Vinh Long). Students studying at UEH Mekong campus are trained with the same quality, the same degree with tuition fees equal to 60% of the HCMC campus.

Final year students will participate in a campus rotation program in Ho Chi Minh City and have the opportunity to participate in student exchange programs with economic schools across the country and the UEH Summer Camp international student community.

Admission timelines at UEH in 2025:

- From 8:00 a.m. on June 2 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28, 2025: Candidates provide proof of registration for admission to PT 3, 4, 5, Course 51 - Regular University, 2025 at website https://xettuyenk51.ueh.edu.vn/

In particular, UEH encourages candidates to submit full evidence of bonus points to increase their chances of being admitted to UEH (including: valid international English certificates; awards (First, Second, Third) in provincial and city-level high school excellent student selection exams; awards/recognition of the title of Excellent Student, Excellent Student for the entire year of grades 10, 11, and 12).

- From June 25, 2025 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28 : Candidates provide proof of admission to PT 2, submit directly to UEH or send by express mail.

- From July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28: Candidates must perform 2 tasks at the same time: (1) Candidates provide evidence of the criteria for admission to PT2, PT3, PT4, PT5 according to the announcement of UEH and (2) Candidates register and adjust their admission wishes on the Ministry of Education and Training's Admissions Portal: http://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn.

- Before 5:00 p.m. on July 23: UEH announces the admission score and equivalent admission score on the UEH Admissions Portal and the Ministry of Education and Training System.

- From July 29 to 5:00 p.m. August 5: Candidates pay admission fees online according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training.

- Before 5:00 p.m. on August 22: Announcement of admission results at UEH Admissions Portal.

- From August 24 to 25: Virtual Open Days, round 2 (online admission procedure consultation).

- Before 5:00 p.m. on August 30: Admitted candidates confirm their enrollment on the Ministry of Education and Training's Admissions Portal http://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn and enroll at UEH.

- September: Admission .
