
On the evening of April 14, the Ho Chi Minh City National University's Competency Assessment Council met and approved the results of the first round of the 2025 exam. The results of the first round of the 2025 Competency Assessment Exam will be announced on the website https://thinangluc.vnuhcm.edu.vn/dgnl/ on April 16.
According to Nguyen Quoc Chinh, Director of the Center for Testing and Assessment of Training Quality of Ho Chi Minh City National University, out of 126,297 graded exams, the average score of the candidates was 618.4 points, 142 candidates scored over 1,000 points. The candidate with the highest score of the exam was 1,060 points and the candidate with the lowest score was 40 points.
Evaluating the test scores of this round, Mr. Chinh said that the distribution of test scores for the first round - 2025 is close to the standard distribution, the wide range of scores shows the ability to classify candidates well, which is favorable for the selection process.
The analysis results show that the difficulty level of the questions in the first round of the 2025 competency assessment test is similar to the design. At the same time, most of the questions in the test have good and very good discrimination, which helps to classify candidates well, suitable for admission purposes.
Currently, 106 universities and colleges have registered to use the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University for admission in 2025.
This year, Ho Chi Minh City National University will not send paper copies of exam result certificates to candidates as in previous years. Instead, candidates will be issued electronic certificates to create more favorable conditions for candidates and units using the results for enrollment, while improving the efficiency of management work according to the digital transformation trend.
From April 21, candidates can proactively access the Ho Chi Minh City National University's Competency Assessment Test Portal at: http://thinangluc.vnuhcm.edu.vn to look up and download the exam score certificate (electronic).
The second round of the 2025 capacity assessment exam will be held on June 1 in 11 localities and candidates will register for the second round from April 17 to May 7.
