The 1st Provincial People's Council Party Congress, term 2025

Dien Bien TV - On the afternoon of April 24, the Provincial People's Council Party Committee held the 1st Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term. Comrade Mua A Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's agencies attended and directed the Congress. Attending the Congress was Comrade Chu Xuan Truong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Mua A Son, Secretary of the Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies gave a speech directing the Congress.

The Provincial People's Council Party Committee was established on the basis of ending the activities of two party organizations: the Provincial People's Council Party Committee and the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council Party Committee with 41 party members.

In the 2020 - 2025 term, the two party organizations have performed and completed their assigned functions and tasks well and achieved many outstanding results. The Party Delegation of the People's Council has led the Provincial People's Council, the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the Provincial People's Council Committees and the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council to prepare and successfully conduct the Provincial People's Council sessions; supervision, survey and voter contact activities; receive and handle complaints, denunciations and recommendations of citizens according to regulations.

Overview of the Congress.

The Party Committee of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council has led and directed the successful implementation of the 4th Resolution of the Office Party Committee, term 2020-2025. The political tasks are carried out in accordance with the provisions of law and the proposed work programs and plans. The Party Committee regularly pays attention to, leads and directs the improvement of the organizational apparatus and the implementation of personnel work in the direction of streamlining, effective and efficient operations.

During the term, the Party Committee admitted 7 outstanding people into the Party ranks, exceeding the target set by the Congress Resolution.

For the 2025 - 2030 term, the Provincial People's Council Party Committee sets out 8 targets; 6 key task groups and specific solutions for implementation.

The Congress voted to pass the Congress Resolution.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Mua A Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Provincial People's Council Party Committee in the 2020 - 2025 term. Entering the 2025 - 2030 term, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Party Committee to continue to focus on leading the building of a clean and strong Party Committee; directing the staff and Party members to actively advise the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council to effectively summarize the term of the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term; at the same time, constantly innovate and improve the quality and efficiency of the Provincial People's Council's operations, especially in promulgating mechanisms, policies, and deciding on important local issues; focusing on leading and directing the good implementation of organizational apparatus and personnel work...

The Congress announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on appointing 15 delegates to attend the 1st Provincial Party Congress of Provincial Party Committees, term 2025-2030./.
