The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel recommends that citizens limit going to crowded places and areas at risk of attacks by forces on Israel, given the increasingly complicated conflict situation.
Faced with the risk of increasingly complicated conflicts after the deaths of senior leaders of Hamas and Hezbollah, and a stabbing attack in the area on August 4, the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel issued a warning to the Vietnamese community living, studying and working there to be vigilant.
The announcement said that on the morning of August 4 (local time), a stabbing attack occurred in the Israeli city of Holon, killing two people and injuring three others.
Authorities have described the attack as a terrorist attack and expect an increase in criminal activity from groups within the Arab community in Israel. There are also reports of attacks deep inside Israel soon.
To ensure absolute safety, the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel recommends that the community: Regularly follow updates on reputable local media.
Avoid going to crowded areas, areas that do not guarantee security or safety, and areas at risk of attacks by Israeli forces.
Strictly comply with regulations and instructions on security measures of local authorities. Proactively develop plans to ensure security and safety for yourself and your family in the context of war.
Regularly keep in touch and inform the Embassy's contacts about the situation in case of emergency and need for support.
Previously, on July 30, the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel also issued a notice advising the local Vietnamese community to take a number of measures to ensure security and safety, after the Israeli army carried out an airstrike targeting a senior commander of the Hezbollah force in Lebanon.
On August 1, the Israeli National Security Council (NSC) also issued a warning to its citizens to avoid traveling to about 40 countries around the world , due to the risk of terrorism./.
