In recent times, ethnic work and implementation of ethnic policies in Dak Lak province have had many innovations and achieved important results. Specifically: the awareness of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, union members, union members and people of all walks of life on ethnic issues, ethnic work, ethnic policies and ethnic solidarity in the new situation has been clearly raised; the leadership and direction of party committees at all levels on ethnic work has had many positive changes; programs, projects and infrastructure have been invested in synchronously and with focus, the material and spiritual life of people in ethnic minority areas has improved;...
However, ethnic work and implementation of ethnic policies in the province in recent times still have certain shortcomings and limitations, affecting the results of implementing ethnic policies.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, Head of the Dak Lak Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Contest Nguyen Kinh shared: The contest to learn about the law on ethnic affairs in 2024 is a meaningful activity, aiming to raise legal awareness for ethnic minorities in the province. At the same time, it demonstrates the special attention of the Party and State to the economic , social and cultural development of the ethnic minority community.
Through the contest, cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the province can exchange, learn, learn and share work experiences in state management of ethnic affairs and implementation of ethnic policies. At the same time, improve professional skills, especially propaganda, dissemination and legaleducation for the people on ethnic affairs and ethnic policies, especially the National Target Program on socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the period of 2021-2030.
At the same time, it is an opportunity to strengthen the dissemination of legal regulations on ethnic affairs and other related regulations, bringing information to the grassroots, community and people to better understand and care about state management in the field of ethnic affairs and implementation of ethnic policies.
The contest is also a place for officials, civil servants, departments, branches, organizations, non-professional activists, and social collaborators at the commune level to meet, exchange and learn from each other. Understanding and complying with the law is an important foundation to ensure stability, political security and social order and safety.
Participating in the contest are 15 teams, 220 members who are cadres, civil servants, public employees working in the dissemination and education of law, culture, society, information, and communication of agencies and units; village and hamlet cadres such as: Head, deputy head of village, hamlet, Party cell committee, Youth Union, Women's Union, Front Work Committee, Prestigious people among ethnic minorities, good producers... in the communes, wards, towns, People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities in the whole province.
The teams will compete in 4 rounds, including: Introduction round; Knowledge test round; Situation handling round and Propaganda skit round. The rounds will have a rich and harmonious combination of reality and dramatization, bringing propaganda messages, current legal situations, practically related to law enforcement in the field of ethnic affairs in ethnic minority areas.
