- To ensure stable power supply to serve the people during the April 30 and May 1 holidays in 2025, Lang Son Power Company has directed specialized departments and district-level power units to develop and implement plans and arrange reasonable power source and grid operation methods to ensure safety and reliability under normal conditions and flexible switching in case of incidents. According to the forecast of Lang Son Electricity Company, it is expected that during the 5-day holiday of April 30 and May 1 ( from Wednesday, April 30 to Sunday, May 4, 2025) , the maximum grid capacity of Lang Son province can reach 215 MW, an increase of about 14% compared to the same period in 2024.

Implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee on ensuring stable power supply to serve cultural and political events in the province, as well as providing power for people's daily life in the province during the April 30 and May 1 holidays, Lang Son Electricity Company has developed plans to ensure safe and stable power supply during the holidays.

Accordingly, Lang Son Electricity Company has developed plans to increase the load in areas where cultural and political events are taking place to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), as well as the International Labor Day on May 1. At the same time, priority is given to ensuring electricity at locations where political and cultural activities of localities take place. Backup generators are arranged to ensure electricity in areas where major political and cultural activities of the provinces take place.

Lang Son Power Company has also directed the power companies of districts and cities to inspect the 35kV, 22kV, 10kV lines and distribution transformer stations and 0.4kV lines under their management; strengthen the entire system under their management to ensure that there are no incidents when carrying high power loads...

Currently, the power units of districts and cities have increased inspection, detected and promptly handled defects in power source equipment, power grids, cleared corridors, and ensured the safety of power lines. At the same time, they have arranged on-duty forces, materials and equipment... to ensure timely handling when incidents causing power outages occur.
