The Honda Goldwing motorcycle line is known as the "mobile fortress". The 2023 version, similar to the traffic police's convoy, is being imported by Honda Vietnam and sold for 1.23 billion VND.
The vehicle uses a horizontally opposed 6-cylinder engine, 1,833cc capacity, producing 124.7 horsepower and maximum torque of 170Nm, combined with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, meeting Euro 5 emission standards.
This parameter of Honda Goldwing 2023 is much higher than sedan models such as Toyota Vios (106 horsepower) or Mazda3 (110 horsepower).

In the genuine motorcycle market distributed in Vietnam, Honda Goldwing competes with vehicles such as BMW K 1600 (VND 1.099 billion) and Harley-Davidson Road Glide Special (VND 1.2 billion).
Besides the Honda Goldwings, the leading super motorbike fleet of the Vietnam Traffic Police also included a number of Yamaha FJR1300Ps that also participated in the rehearsal of escorting international guests on the afternoon of December 9.

Yamaha FJR1300P is developed based on the commercial version Yamaha FJR1300, but the special vehicle dedicated to the police force has not had its technical specifications disclosed by the manufacturer.
The Yamaha FJR1300 is equipped with a 4-cylinder, 1,298cc engine, with a maximum capacity of about 142 horsepower and a maximum torque of 134.4Nm, combined with a 6-speed gearbox. This is more than or even higher than many B-SUV models, such as the Toyota Corolla Cross or Kia Seltos (both 138 horsepower).
In terms of appearance, the lead vehicles seem to be no different from the commercial version, except for the additional lights and sirens (Photo: Tran Thanh).
The Yamaha FJR1300 can accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 4 seconds, reach 160km/h in nearly 10 seconds, and has a top speed of 230km/h.
In the world , the most advanced commercial version of the Yamaha FJR1300 (ES) is equipped with an electronically controlled front/rear suspension system (with three available modes with adjustable compression and feedback parameters and compatible with load), electrically controlled windshield, heated handlebars, LED headlights...
Notable safety equipment includes: front/rear ABS braking system, TSC traction control system, cruise control system with a set speed of up to 160 km/h (version 2014 and earlier only reached 130 km/h).
The Yamaha FJR1300 is trusted by security forces in many countries around the world, such as England, France, Belgium and Japan.
