To create a breakthrough in mass mobilization work in participating in socio -economic development, aiming at the goal of building a class I urban area, right from the beginning of the term, Tam Ky City Party Committee issued a Resolution on innovation, improving the capacity and effectiveness of mass mobilization work in the city for the period 2021 - 2025.

At the same time, the Project on propaganda, mobilization and gathering of people from all walks of life to participate in building and developing the city at the present stage was approved.

Tam Ky City Party Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Lan shared that the City Party Committee determined that mass mobilization work plays an important role in leading the successful implementation of all political tasks of the Party Committee.

Mass mobilization work is always one step ahead and is a regular, long-term task of the entire political system. The focus is on promoting propaganda and mobilization in the fields of compensation, site clearance, resettlement, implementation of investment projects, socialization of upgrading, urban beautification, new rural construction, etc.

Notably, the emulation movement "Skilled mass mobilization" and the model "Self-management" have been focused on by Party committees at all levels to improve quality according to the motto "Effective, practical, less is better"; associated with the implementation of Directive 05 of the Politburo on studying and following the ideology, morality and lifestyle of Ho Chi Minh .

By synchronizing the approach, Tam Ky focuses on promoting the spirit of democracy, the people are the main participants in the model, all matters are discussed and agreed upon for implementation; at the same time, the people directly benefit from the effectiveness of the "skillful mass mobilization" models.

For socialized projects, Tam Ky established a mass mobilization team, focusing on mobilizing land clearance with the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee as the team leader, and directly organized peak campaigns with relevant agencies to resolutely implement and resolve problems during the implementation process. In addition, regular dialogue conferences were held between the heads of Party committees and authorities with the people.

Promoting the strength of solidarity

During the 2021 - 2023 period, in Tam Ky, the government's mass mobilization work has taken part in 128 projects; carried out compensation and site clearance for nearly 3,500 affected households, and paid nearly 450 billion VND.

In particular, through socialized projects, from 2021 to 2023, the city mobilized people to contribute more than 93,000 square meters of land, with a total value of nearly 40 billion VND.

Thereby, contributing to the completion of many inter-village and inter-commune roads, significantly changing the appearance of new rural communes, making the sidewalks and alleys of inner-city wards clean and beautiful. This is the result that affirms the determination in compensation and site clearance work from the city to the grassroots, according to the motto "resolute, thorough, decisive and effective".

“In every step of development of Tam Ky City, there is always an important role of mass mobilization work. The recent achievements have affirmed that the leadership and direction of the Party Committee always creatively apply President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on the role of the people in his Testament, in the motto "Taking people as the root", "If mass mobilization is skillful, everything will be successful".
