DNO - The Party Committee of the General Staff of the Border Guard of Da Nang City has just held a Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Colonel Do Van Dong, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the City Border Guard attended and directed the Congress.

The Congress elected the Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term and delegates to attend the Congress of Party delegates at higher levels, ensuring compliance with the principles and Party Charter.

In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of the General Staff Department always unites, promotes collective intelligence, focuses on leading and directing the unit to successfully complete all assigned tasks, builds a strong and comprehensive unit, and a clean and strong Party Committee.

Speaking at the Congress, Colonel Do Van Dong praised and highly appreciated the results that the Party Committee of the General Staff Department had achieved in the past term; at the same time, he requested that in the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement documents from superiors on border defense tasks and force building; coordinate with functional departments to advise the Party Committee and the Command to do a good job of grasping, analyzing, forecasting the situation, proposing policies and solutions to handle incidents well, avoiding being passive and surprised; strictly maintaining combat readiness and natural disaster prevention; deploying activities to protect border and sea safety, maintain political security, social order and safety, and perform well the functions of military, national defense and foreign affairs.

Closely combine the functions of advising, proposing and inspecting and urging agencies and units to perform border management and protection tasks, promote the application of digital technology and digitization, especially in immigration management at border gates; improve the quality of combat training, build a strong and comprehensive unit, constantly improve the capabilities, combat readiness, professional expertise, and tactics of officers and soldiers in the entire unit, meeting the requirements of Border Guard staff work in the new situation.
